By booking a place on any course run by the Rory Z Hypnosis Academy (referred to in these Terms as “the Company”, “we” or “us”) you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions, and to only book a course after fully reading and agreeing to them.
Course fees are payable in full before the date of the course. Course fees are non-refundable. In the event of cancellation or non-attendance;
In the unlikely event that we cancel a course, a full refund will be offered (minus payment processing fees if required). Where available, you will also be given the option to transfer your booking to a future course.
When you book a place on a course, the email address provided by you will be used to communicate with you directly, including sending course confirmation emails and course updates. The email provided will also be added to our mailing list or updated if you are already a subscriber. You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time using the ‘unsubscribe’ button at the bottom of any emails sent via our mailing list service, or by emailing us directly at rory@learnhypnosis.com.
If you are using public transport to travel to the course, or staying at a hotel (or similar) for the duration of the course, ensure that you purchase a flexible or refundable option, in case the course is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, or you are unable to attend. The Rory Z Hypnosis Academy is not liable for any costs you may incur or lose due to course cancellation or non-attendance.
By booking your place on a course, you confirm that you will be over 18 years of age at the course start date, and have a sufficient knowledge of written and spoken English language to fully understand and participate in a course delivered in English. Furthermore, you agree that you will not book a course place or attend a course if you suffer from any of the following conditions: psychological disorders; personality disorders; psychosis; severe (clinical) depression; uncontrolled panic attacks; uncontrolled epilepsy/seizures; brain trauma; dementia; Alzheimer’s; or severe learning difficulties/cognitive deficits, and you confirm you will not be using any substance or medication (legal or illegal) that may impair your concentration or performance during the course. We reserve the right to remove you from the course if we deem you to be unfit to participate for any reason.
We have a zero-tolerance policy on inappropriate conduct, including: bullying; harassment; abusive behaviour; racism; gender-based discrimination; offensive language and conduct; and unethical practice. We reserve the right to immediately remove you from the course without prior warning if we deem your conduct to be inappropriate, and no refund will be given.
All students have the right and responsibility to alert the trainer or helpers about any issues or incidents that occur during the course. Issues may relate to other students, the trainer or helpers, or the venue. If a student is unable or unwilling to communicate about an issue during the course, they must email rory@learnhypnosis.com with full details of the issue or incident within 48-hours of the conclusion of the course so that it can be investigated appropriately.
Students must participate in all practical activities unless there is a valid medical or psychological reason for not doing so.
Students have the right to remove themselves from the course at any time, and will receive no refund, credit or compensation if they choose to do so.
All courses and course contents listed on our website, learnhypnosis.com, are subject to change. We will, where possible, deliver all courses and content as advertised. However, we reserve the right to adapt, modify, add or remove course contents as required at our discretion.
The use of video/audio recording devices is not permitted at our courses, unless otherwise directed by us. By attending a course you grant your consent to be filmed, photographed and otherwise documented by us, and/or associates of the Company, for the duration of the course. By attending a course, you grant us full permission to use any materials (including your likeness) generated in this way for any use, including but not limited to commercial distribution, advertising, and other promotional avenues. By booking your place on a course you are agreeing to give all permissions required, including the waiver of moral rights, to copy, exhibit, transmit, and broadcast your contribution including your image without time limit in all countries in the world by all means and in all media and formats. You hereby agree that you will not be entitled to any deferred remuneration or royalties of any kind. You release the Company from any claims and demands arising out of the use of the aforementioned material(s) including claims of defamation.
Rory Z Hypnosis Academy courses are sold for educational purposes only, and do not guarantee independent recognition, accreditation, employment or business success. Furthermore, we are unable to guarantee any future rights for use of skills learned on our courses, as local, national and international legislation may change in the future. All content taught on our courses is currently in line with UK legislation or the absence thereof.
You commit that you will not: a) Re-publish content and training materials (‘content’) from our courses (including re-publication on another website, product or service); b) Sell, rent or sub-license content from our courses; c) Show any content from our courses in public; d) Reproduce, duplicate, copy or otherwise exploit content from our courses for any commercial purposes related to the provision of training and education. All course content is protected by applicable United Kingdom and international intellectual property laws and treaties.
Online 1-to-1 training, mentoring and the 6-month hypnotherapy mentoring programme offered by the Rory Z Hypnosis Academy adhere to the same terms as laid out above. Please note that the start times of online mentoring sessions are not flexible, and sessions will not be extended or rescheduled if you join the session later than the scheduled start time. In addition, you agree to ensure that you have the hardware and connectivity available to fully participate in online/telephone mentoring sessions as scheduled. Connectivity and technical issues resulting in failure to connect, join, or attend will be treated as non-attendance, and the session will be forfeited without refund or the option to reschedule. However, if technical issues occur, mentoring sessions can be undertaken at the scheduled time via a different medium, e.g. telephone, where available.
The 6-month Hypnotherapy Mentoring Programme begins on the date that you are given access to our online training courses, and access will cease 180-days after that date. If you already have a subscription to any of our online training courses, your original subscription(s) will be paused for the duration of the programme, and re-started after the programme is completed. No additional online subscription payments will be taken throughout the duration of your enrolment in the Hypnotherapy Mentoring Programme. If you have an existing subscription that is registered under a different email address than the one provided upon signing up to the programme, you must let us know directly so that we are able to pause your subscription(s).
During the 6-month Hypnotherapy Mentoring Programme, you are expected to attend all mentoring sessions, and participate fully. If you are unable to attend a mentoring session, please let us know at least 24-hours in advance. In addition, it is recommended that you consider the topics you’d like to cover in advance of each mentoring session. The duration of these weekly mentoring sessions may vary, and usually range between 15-30 minutes per session.
During your enrolment in the 6-month Hypnotherapy Mentoring Programme, you are eligible to attend any of our live training courses at no additional cost. In order to attend a live course, the course must begin whilst your programme is active, and you must contact us directly to book your place. The Rory Z Hypnosis Academy cannot guarantee availability of course places, as such, please ensure that you regularly visit the course pages on our website for upcoming course dates and locations, and book to attend your chosen live course(s) as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
We may amend these Terms from time to time, and without prior warning or direct notification.
