    About Hypnosis

The suggestibility tests covered in this module include; the arm lock test, the bucket and balloon test, the fingers spreading test, the hand lock test and the magnetic hands test.   • Module 2:
    Hypnotherapy Client Intake

    In this module, you'll learn why the client intake is one of the most important parts of the hypnotherapy process! Rory guides you through the client onboarding process, explaining how to laser-focus your consultation and what information you need to get from your clients to plan and structure your hypnotherapy sessions. Not only will you learn a range of powerful information gathering strategies such as solution-focused questioning and active listening, but you'll also learn how to use scaling, the BASICS behavioural assessment, how to set therapy goals, create client homework, and even how to deliver a professional hypnotherapy pre-talk!     Hypnotising Therapy Clients

    All hypnotherapy clients are different, and in this section Rory explains how to understand which choice of hypnotic induction will work best for each type of client.     Many hypnotherapists are taught to rely on hypnosis scripts. Unfortunately, that approach often leads to inflexible and unconfident hypnotherapists in the long-run! Although we do give you a range of effective hypnosis scripts as part of our Hypnotherapy course, they are just the beginning! To really develop confidence as a hypnotherapist, you need to know how to create your own therapy suggestions and scripts, and that's exactly what you will learn in this module! Rory reveals the secrets of creating powerful hypnotic suggestions, lifting the lid on direct hypnotic suggestions, indirect and Ericksonian suggestions, hypnotherapy metaphors, and post-hypnotic suggestions!   • Module 1:
    About Stage & Street Hypnosis

    During the first module of the course, you're going to learn all about comedy hypnosis, and the differences between stage and street hypnosis. Rory also covers how to develop a confident stage hypnosis persona. This is integral for any hypnotic entertainer, whether you're performing street hypnosis with a couple of people, or stage hypnosis shows with hundreds in the audience! Safety and ethics are also covered in depth here, to ensure your volunteers are always happy and comfortable.   • Module 2:
    Getting Started

    To get your hypnosis show or demonstration started, first you need to find volunteers who want to participate, and in this module, Rory will teach you how to do just that! With videos on building audience engagement before a hypnosis show and how to confidently approach potential street hypnosis volunteers, this module covers all the bases!

  • Module 3:
    The Pre-Talk

    As a comedy hypnotist, your pre-talk is integral to a successful performance! However, it needs to be exciting, engaging and, most importantly, fun! Rory guides you through what to include and not include in your hypnosis pre-talk, and how to adapt the pre-talk for stage hypnosis shows or street hypnosis demos! You'll also learn how to deal with any interruptions that might happen during a hypnosis performance, and what to do if you ever get a heckler!

  • Module 4:
    Suggestibility Tests

    During the majority of comedy hypnosis performances, you'll be using suggestibility tests with groups and audiences. You will learn why this is an integral part of the process, and how to make your suggestibility tests engaging and entertaining. You'll also get two additional suggestibility tests that work great with stage and street hypnosis volunteers!

  • Module 5:
    Stage Hypnosis Inductions

    In this module, Rory explains which inductions and deepeners work best for stage and street hypnosis, and how to be flexible with your hypnosis process depending on the type of performance you're delivering. As well as learning Rory's stage hypnosis induction, you'll also learn how to position your hypnotised volunteers (and yourself) for the duration of your performance to ensure your volunteers are safe, and for best entertainment value!
